There is a forum for Other Software that you might look at, and you might find many other software there for all kinds of things like Audacity, Krita, Hugin, Gimp, Inkscape, etc. and many more.
I like to know the reason why they using for their animation still blender is a full blown software. If u read my post you know Crazybump helps for realistic texture creating
Inkscape for vectors, Audacity for audio track editing, Hugin for image stitching for background hdri creation, Krita for texture creation plus more, Gimp for image manipulation…
