Trying To Animate Smoke??

Using 2.7, I’m trying to learn the new smoke emitter/domain process in cycles. I’ve added the domain/sphere to my scene, and it’s creating smoke; however, I can’t figure out how animate the smoke. What I mean is, I have an animated scene that is 180 frames. I want the smoke to begin at frame 51 and end and cease emitting at frame 100. I’m having no success trying to use keyframes??

I’m relatively new with Blender, so please excuse any dumb questions!!

To start or stop the flowing of smoke, keyframe the density/flame rate values on the flow object. (density is for smoke emitters, flame rate is for fire emitters. Smoke+fire emitters will have both).

Thanks so much, J_the_Ninja!! Which function of the keyframe dropdown do you then iuse, i.e. “LocScale”, “Available”, etc?? You’re moving my learning curve a bit more. :>)

Not from that menu. You just right click on the value itself in the smoke settings. Or, I think, hit I while hovering over the value.

KEWL! Really appreciate the help, K Horseman!
