Is it necessary to start another (of many) new thread for each minor update. What not a single thread to discuss this ? If you want to note a new version just change the thread title.

Sorry about that, I didn’t know I could change the thread title. I’ll keep that in mind for the next posts.

Looks really nice. I’ll have to give it a try when I get some spare time!

This is a real time render?

is there any way to use blender game engine, with this as the render?

is it openGL based or?

FluidRay is a path tracer, it uses Embree kernels. It’s realtime in the sense that it renders in the viewport progressively, updating instantly with edits.

you are competing with cycles, which is integrated and free. What are the major points that make this better?
Is it faster? More advanced?

Listen to blurymind

Switching to a 3rd party renderer is hard very hard

you have to compel us

Tell us why it’s supposedly better than cycles

Because despite Lux render being more established than cycles and having more features, We are not using that because we don’t like switching to 3rd party renderers

So what do you guys have to offer?

Firstly, I think it is better to edit the first post to have the latest release news, and change the post title accordingly.
Secondly, if there is a blender addon, it will draw more attention here
