HDTV Animation has fireflies on glass shader

This is a frame from an animation, the background is in alpha.
On the left bottom corner is a glass shader. This was a render off 1500 samples with a clamp of 8 and a indirect clamp of 12… I also reduced the light bounces to 4.
It STILL has fireflies. Can someone help me on how to remove these little bastards? Ofcourse, this also renders WAY too slow for an animation.

-Pretty much the entire reason indirect clamp is a separate control is so you can set it to a lower value than direct clamp. Try 2.

-Use branched path so you aren’t sampling everything many times just to clear one type of noise.

Easy, since THOSE are NOT fireflies.
