Sketchbook powers activate!
If nothing else I figure this will help chart any artistic development over time.



This is a scene rendered in BI, mainly working on procedural textures and figuring out how to get that nice DoF effect that alot of people are using.


And here’s a sculpt I did earlier today with hastely added hair.

A metaball experiment.



Just watched a tutorial about making things from minecraft, nothing really new to me except the MIP mapping on textures causing issues when doing things from pixelated images.

Going to try to do something each day whether it be modeling sculpting materials/textures or rigging, however recent computer issues have gotten me down in the dumps, I think I can still do this.

Testing of using shaders to recreate minecraft appearance. May need more advanced methods to light the scene to get appropriate shadows. This just used simple world mix shader of 2 background shaders with is camera ray as the factor.


Sierspinski pyramid, also working on a short animation of the camera moving into the center of the pyramid then changing direction and going upwards.
