Ferrari spider cycles version

This is a cycles version of ferrari spider which i posted a couple of days back tell me what do you think about it:RocknRoll:

There are some modelling errors, but the most important problems, for me, are the materials, you really have to improve it.
The car painting should be something like this:



maybe with an HDRI and a better lighting setup.

The glass seem to me a pure Glossy shader, it looks like metal, or a mirror. If you’re not so expert just use a Glass shader and set the right IOR

Here are other problems:


1- put something behind the wheels, it’s kinda weird to see an empty space.
2- i don’t think the car actually looks like that, be more precise when modelling
3- general modelling problems, mostly deformations.

The panel above and around the ‘glass’ is not smooth, try using some subsurf.

Start by doing these things, i think you’ll get a lot better result.

NO! Do, or do not. There is no try!

Try and look into topology and edge flow etc…will help you a lot when modelling a car.
