Video Rendering Crash

When I am trying to render my still images to video out of the video editor Blender Crashes with no error report or pause. It just quits. I tried it with the H.264 encoding and AVi Raw and it happens with both compression types. Luckily I still have Blender 2.6x on my computer. My computer specs are as follows:

Mac Book Pro 2012
2.3 GHz Intel Core i7
4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
OS X 10.8.5
Nvidia GeForce GT 650M 512MB

I do like the look and feel of the new interface with 2.7 and would like to get used to using it but much of what I do is video so I am going to need to use my previous version. Let me know if you find the error or what I may need to do to fix the problem. By the way thank you very much for Blender, it is awesome and I love it.

Might be a bit of a workaround, but have you tried to render to an image sequence like PNG or TIFF? I know you’ll need to do some re-assembly later, but those codecs tend to be far more reliable than H.264 or especially AVI RAW
