Parenting Shape Key Values?

Hello, I was wondering if there’s a way to parent shape key values on two different meshes.
I would like to keep the meshes separate, but both carry out a blink function (one is a body mesh and the other is eyelashes). Is there a way to parent the shape key value on the eyelashes to be the same as the body’s or will I have to just copy over the keyframes?

You can have a single driver control the value of both shapekeys. The value can be driven by bone rotation or in the simplest case the x location of an empty.

Once you do it once or twice it’s easy, but you have to jump around the GUI in weird places. Good luck.
