How to attach object with cloth mod to separate object

Hello

I have having trouble figuring out how to make an object with a cloth modifier on it attach to another object.

Basically what i am doing is modelling a dragon and im trying to make the flappy bits on his wings into cloth so they can be affected by movement and wind while the rest of the dragon stays solid.

Ive been able to make the desired effect but can’t figure out how to make it attach to the part of the wing it is supposed to be attached to.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

you should really watch a couple of tutorials to get a grip on this, I won’t go over whats been covered well by others, but basically you assign the vertices that you want to stay connected to a vertex group, then set this group as the “Pinning” group in the cloth settings.
