cloth ridgid body simulation problems

I’m trying to get a cloth simulation to interact with a ridged body (a sphere bouncing on a trampoline) does anyone know if/how this can be done?

I believe you have to add a “collision” object to the sphere. This is separate from a passive RBD object.

Thanks, I am able to get the sphere to interact with the cloth but not the other way around (it keeps falling through). Any tips on how to fix that?

There is no way to get a cloth simulation to affect anything else. You have to fake it. The easiest way to do this by placing a hidden rigid body object behind the cloth.

Sorry, I misunderstood. A work around would be to make the trampoline a soft body object instead of a cloth Sim. You should be able to get the sphere to interact with it that way.
