Abstract Nature

This was an experiment with the new volumetric rendering. I liked how it was turning out, so I decided to finish it.

That is awesome! I would be interested in knowing how you made the clouds.

The clouds are really simple actually. Basically, each cloud is just a sphere with a few displacement modifiers. For the material, I used the volume scatter shader, and then a noise texture as the factor for the density.


pretty neat, an interesting way of changing how we look at a familiar landscape.
