Advice on modeling this...

Hi guys, I need to model (I can’t use a texture) a panel made like the image attached…do you have any advice or experience in something like this?

make one section and use array in x and Y !

Make a plane, subdivide it, then use Ctrl+Shift+B on selected vertices.
Delete the faces, scale on the Y axis, and you get something like this, quick and dirty:


Since the pattern repeats, just build a section, use mirror and array to expand the sections. Here I made basic mesh in top view. And, refined the basic shape by pulling down edges, adding cuts to bend the lips, and added some loop cuts to sharpen the edges:

Subsurface modifier was used to round the edges. Also Solidify modifier was used to give thickness to the mesh.
