Yet another Danish Renaissance House

What do you think of it?

I like the house itself much better than the church, which is a bit … bland.
I also think that the composition is a bit strange, the interaction between these 2 buildings doesn’t really work at the moment.
One is sunbathed, the other only in the shadows.

Hi

Mabey the overall light is or should be more yellowish. The wood texture looks a bit strange, the wood is to dark and to much reflexion in it. It probably need to be more brown like in this picture.

(Is that the same house )

Yes, it IS the same house. I was in the Old Town of Aarhus and shot some photos for reference and textures, for use in Blender.

The color of the wood is taken directly from the textures of that very same house, just it was quite wet/rainy when I was shooting photos, so that could be the reason. (Though, it is the perfect weather for shooting photos for textures, as there are little to no shadows).

I will keep working on this, and eventually make a better looking version, perhaps from another angle.

I have now updated it a bit.
