Well, I’m just getting these specs in a few days. Anyways, I know that it is a very powerful gaming computer, but I was wondering if I could use it for animation as well. For proper animations I will be building a Render Farm next year, but I just wanted to see if I could make something like, say, Minecraft-style animations on it with lower render times. I’ll be mostly using the internal renderer. Any idea how long the rendering per frame will take?

Yes
The blender internal renderer does not benefit from the gpu so unless you need it for something else you won’t get any render speed improvement in spending more money on it

Each frame could take a couple of seconds to many hours, depending on your scene complexity, your material settings and your render settings.
