Fracture Plus Field Equals Slow Motion

Hi All,

I was trying to figure out a way to move a fractured cube as a single object then sling it into a wall and have it break apart. (not solved, still looking for a solution on that). But in the process I tried using force fields to move shards around and discovered that if you set the field Flow to 10.0 (maximum value) the entire fracture physics seems to run in slow motion. Once the shards pass outside the range of the Maximum Falloff the entire system speeds up to normal. I think you could kind of use this to target a specific part of a scene for ‘Bullet Time’ based effects.

Each field produces a different result but I am posting a demo file that shows effects of Turbulence on a fractured object.
