I’ve seen several responses to this type of question but I’m not sure its the same thing I’m looking for.
I am trying to make it so that one specific object does not cast a shadow on another specific object in the scene. In Maya I would have checked “turn off receives shadow” or uncheck “casts shadow” or whatever its called on the specific mesh. I don’t want to turn off the shadows for the lights. I just want this one object in the scene not to get shadows. Is there an option to do that in Blender Cycles and if so where specifically is it? I tried looking in the material and there’s nothing that says shadows - only in global render settings and lights.
