Shelby Cobra

A Shelby Cobra fully modelled, rendered and composited in Blender Cycles.
This is my first ever post here and also my first nice looking project result. Any kind of feedback is appreciated, I know that it’s not perfect and I hope to improve that in my next project

More Renders

Model looks great - materials (mainly the car paint, the exhaust pipes and to a lesser extent the tyres) could use some work. Keep it up!

Little bit too dark.
What was the rendertime ?

I agree, my materials need some work to look right.

Render time was about 9 hours each on 128^2 samples, about 1.47m verts, GPU rendering on a GTX 760.
I need to change my light paths and performance settings though since it took a lot longer with more samples than it should have for the scene I have.

good modeling, rendering:

-the fade to black background is limiting, try to eliminate the black regions.

other a good looking chubby lovable car.

as said before, the background could be improved a bit. maybe you google for “studio render setup” or something like this. and maybe you review your chrome material. its to blurry i would say. besides that, great job!

Thanks for the tips!
Did a quick re-render with some new shaders applied + hdr environment + new background

Much better! Looks great, maybe you should put a grill in his ‘mouth’

definitely much better BG and car shader, although the shader still need work.
