Old interior

Hi to all,
this is my latest project, I hope you like it.

Render 700 samples and 175thousand verts.

In sequence the images are: the render (+ compositig) in blender and the final image in gimp.
Tips and ideas unwelcome.

That volume transition seems too hard, where it’s under the window. (I hope I’m making myself clear). I think it would look better if you would soften it somehow. Overally though, lovely image!

The ‘worn-out’ look of the image is made in Gimp or Blender?

Looking really nice.

The more I look at this the more I like it. I suppose the materials could be better but I love the unsettling quality of it. I’m not sure it needs the old picture look though. I kind of like the first one!

Really good job.

Thanks to all for the comments and compliments.

@ Kalinaki : if for “worn-out”, you mean the old photo effect (sorry but i don’t speak english well), it’s make in Gimp.

Anyway i remake the image, decrease the intensity of the volumetric lights (like says by downfall61) and i also decrease the value of the normal map of the bookcase.
maybe I will modify the image again but I post you th up of work

Render: 800 samples
