Need help for short movie

Hi

I have created an office scene and want to make a short movie where the camera “walks” through the front door and basically goes around the office to show the layout. The movie shouldn’t take more than 10 seconds.

I am a relative self thought newbie and any help will be much appreciated. Are there any good tutorials about that you could recommend.

There’s a nice tutorial on creating a house in Blender by Vaclav Chaloupka. The last part of the tutorial has a “virtual tour” through the house (http://vimeo.com/833701). The tutorial is old now, so you’ll probably want to look at some recent tutorials on “follow path” and “track to” constraints in Blender. Basically, you create a path and apply a “follow path” modifier to the camera to move the camera. But you probably also want to add an empty and keyframe its location, then add a “track to” (or “damped track”) constraint to point the camera at the empty as it moves.

Great stuff. Finally got round to doing this. Am rendering it up at the moment, so hopefully it comes out ok. Will know tomorrow
