Here is a glowing dodecahedron I made a while ago. I made it to test out the emission settings for the BGE and I thought maybe someone else could use them for something. There are four textures in the file: Diffuse, normal, specular, and emissive.
Press P in texture mode to see the results of the emissive map. Hope you enjoy
