Triumph Bonneville Café Racer

I wanted to learn how to model, shade and render in Blender, so I decided to make this personal project. It’s rendered with Cycles renderer. Thanks!

Magnificent work, ptaszek! I’m glad to see you’ve completed this project! The attention to detail in the modeling is incredible, and the materials and lighting make for very classic looking images. I especially like the small glares you’ve added to some of the highlights (I’m assuming this is a post-effect at least!).

Terrific work! 5 stars!

Thank you James
Yep small flares are done in photoshop. I did this render because I am quite tired doing this location image with the girl.
I had to render something…

The modelisation is just perfect. An other “blendmaster” But for the shading, several parts looks maybe a little bit too soft. But great work overall

Smooth renders, looks really good! Would LOVE to see it from more angles!

nicely modeled, but:

  1. add a texture to the wheels, and ideally also a noise displacement material
  2. the shadow is too sharp
  3. add some color!

very well modeled though!

Amazing!

Please, CONTINUE!

That’s awesome modelling! I love Triumphs! Are you planning on doing some different renders with it?

I’m a modelling noob. I tried making a Triumph Scrambler as it’s my fav. bike ever. I gave up partly because I didn’t have great reference images. Also, I haven’t fully grasped proper modelling practices. I would always try to make everything out of one object. ie. the rim. It looks to me from your wireframe that you modeled the rim in a bunch of pieces?

Amazing,
and so well presented.
Love the renders, the composition.
Excellent!

Love it! Very elegant.

WOW!!! Could you do a tutorial on this maybe???

wow awesome work…

I love the image but personally I wish you added some colour to it and it was less blown-out (the exposure) it feels like we’re missing details. Really top-notch!

I think this really says something for the success of Blender, there are more and more incredible artists showing up on these forums.

Gorgeous. I love the modeling on this beast. If it wasn’t a finished project, I would suggest a bit more attention to the materials perhaps? A texture on the tire would be really sweet
But I love this. The modeling is really clean.

Thanks Guys! :stuck_out_tongue:

Awesome…could we see some info on your lighting setup? This looks super professional

nice model and really stylish render  welldone!
