hej that’s a really good work! You should post it in finished works as well IMO

I think however you could improve the rocks. The model of Azog is really nice, but the environment is not at that level.

Hi Bernardo thanks for the reply and yes you’re are right about the rocks, they need some improvements :slight_smile:

I think the skin shader could use some more sss, as the skin looks a bit to plastic to me, otherwise nice work.

Nice work!

Thanks shadowlich for the feedback!
This is another character sculpted with the great dynamic topology in Blender!!

New version of azog, more details on the environment and new value on the sss.

Hi!!! here is what I’m working on in these days

Nice work here Emiliano.

A bit of a random thing for me to comment on here, but I like the job you did with the leather material!

On the Azog image, I prefer the lighting in the first image. I like how you changed the deep orange light from the fire to a orangey-yellow glow though. I love your other models on this page too! Brilliant work

Very nice scultwork especially on that dynamic topology creature. Maybe a bit less blurring in Azog’s background? How are you doing that - are you using depth of field settings?

@Nathan
thanks for the feedback , in the last versionof Azog the contrast value is minor than the first one, maybe this thing makes it less interesting.

@Talebreeder
about the DOF yes definitely the background it’s too blurred but i pushed the depth of field to have focus attention on Azog and less details to care on the back.
the dof is calculated directly in the rendering with cycles and you can see the value in the pic

Thanks again guys and sorry for my bad English!!! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Hi!!
Here another two view of my pseudo kaiju.
I think there are some improvements to do on the color texture, especially on the horns.
