This is the project I made for fun. It’s a series of six pictures based on Nespresso Citiz. Modeled in Blender, textured in Photoshop / Blender, rendered in Octane Render . Rendered with PMC @ 32000 Samples.
Those are very good renders, especially those with close up and DOF. Maybe renders should be a little bit brighter but now there have that special mood which I really like.
I have one question for You, some time ago I’ve made also a nespresso coffee mashine (I have one at home and btw coffee is great ) http://www.archibaseplanet.com/download/f5856487.html and I struggled with making holes in the base for a cup. I eventually made it but I’m wondering what was Your method to make them. I will be gratefull for the answer.
Regards, paulina.
P.S. The foam in the cup of coffee is a masterpiece
If I tell you it’s a transparent map on a single face object with a well used normal map, you’ll believe me . But it’s really a single face object with a transparent map (the hole), and the curved metal, a normal map (see the picture under). Yes, the goal is the mood too, some render are more darker by choise. The foam is also a 3D painted texture done in blender.
