Squishy strechy eyes

Okay I have a two part question.

A. I’ve noticed that object level rotation on an object being deformed by a lattice or mesh deformer rotates the lattice or mesh deformer with it. Any way around that?

B. I thought there was a way to edit shape keys path, so for example if I needed to rotate a circle using shape keys and i want the vertices to follow a curve to the taget instead of a straight line, could i do that?

Nevermind :smiley: I sat there and played with that for hours getting the same result everytime but this time it worked. I must have done something stupid before.

several different ways to do eye squish… but weither you using a lattice or a parent bone or object… the child object (the eye ball being squishified… is going to modify inside of the parent space… so it not only is going to scale it’s also going to move and rotate as well according to the parent…
