Hello!
I’m experimenting with cycles too. I created a strange object out of pure creativity and rotated light around it, and the object itself will rotate too.
The one with glas is not animated yet, just a still. To animate glass with proper quality, uh, that needs power.

Spozzfreund,
Just to let you know you are not alone. Fascinating creation… I haven’t had much sleep since I downloaded Cycles.
For me it is just like a giant video game, with endless possibilities. Thanks for sharing. Joe1
Thanks JOE1
I’ve decided to use this thread for almost all my future blender animations. So here’s a new one. Same object, but a bit different.

Well, after a few month, I took my fireball effect and played a bit with it. :spin:

By watching this video you agree, that I’m not responsible if you set your christmastree on fire!

Wow – that is cool smoke stuff. Very useful to see the influence of the settings. Thanks for posting
Thanks daren!
Well, finally I animated a little project that’s been 95% ready for too many month.

Hello!
I created some stuff in last few month, but I don’t wanted to bother you with every little animation. But here’s a fresh one:

How long does it take to rende the explosions in your movie more blender effects?
Oh hello gerardopblender!
Well including the baking it should have been something like over 80 hours for all 14 effects (2 dust colors for each of the 7 explosions in the video).
With a 6 core AMD 1090T CPU, in case you like to know.
