Thank you very much!
Awesome work Kent! In my opinion yours should defiantly of been one of the winners!
Just in case anyone was interested, here is a wireframe render.
I agree with Bart Raeves! Older scene are a lot nicer to see for me. Often the modern interiors are so minimalist and often try to pass it of as such, so not to do so much work.
And I'm not sure...
yeah I do too :P Thanks!
That's what I was going for ;)
Thanks :) And yeah the new X-Wing looks awesome!
I love the studio ones of the chair. and the very last one is well done also!
Awesome! He looks a bit too old :P (I would make less wrinkles and bring the bump down some)
Thank you :)
Glad you like it! Thanks!
I created this trying to imagine what the new Star Wars would be like. Note the Excessive use of lens flares...
Really nice renders! The model itself is also really good! And I agree with jjjuho. I think his ideas would really help.
Thank you ;)
Thanks for the feedback! The noise is from the background image. So I should probably have used a different one. But using DOF I believe would be unrealistic do to the scale of the Eiffel tower.
Thank you very much! I did use a reference image for doing the curve. It was very low quality so I couldn't use it very well. But it did help a lot. And at that point I had only modeled the basics of...
Nice work! I like the chair :) I would use a little less low poly plants though.
Thank you! I was hoping it was a good balance.
I was hoping people would like it! I spend a while perfecting it.
Thank you! Without Bevel and edge split its about 150k verts.
Cool :D Thanks!
Thank you too!
Here's my latest piece, the iconic Eiffel tower. The trees are from Andrew Price's architecture academy starter pack. And the background is from cgtextures.com
Here is the model alone on...
Amazingly realistic! The folds in the pillows are great!
Ah yeah now i found it! I just glanced at the export list and didn't see it. I removed that form the tutorial. EXR is really good also. But you run into large file sizes. I didn't really want to go...
A little known feature is Blender is the ability to render in 360 degrees. Recently I tried to find a tutorial on doing this and only found one short article on doing so. So I decided I would give...
Here is two models I did back before 2.71. Both of them I did lightmap projection for the UVs then baked them and uploaded them to Sketchfab.
Here is a quick timelapse I recorded to see what this addon could do:
I think it must be the texture coordinates. since its working on other meshes that i'm using. I finally got something to work a lot like your .blend. Thanks again :)
Here's how it looks now:...
Yeah, I'm using cycles. I tried that node setup and it work pretty well. Thanks for your help! I'm starting to get it how I like it.
BTW I'm trying to use a color ramp node to control the opacity...
The Pinkish Purplish flower is ind of out of place. Also I think the lighting could use a little work. But otherwise looks great!
I'm trying to make a plane that falling from the sky. and I'm want to make something like this for the front and wings of it:
Haha, that was great. Really good work on the pigeon.
Yes he is :) and Thank you!
Yeah, that's what I was kind of quoting, lol. Thanks.
This is inspired by the work of PigArt on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/pigartt/videos
Call it copying, But as I always say. "steal like an artist"
I did a lot of post possessing...
Wow looking great!
Made this for fun last night :)
Here is mine:
Good! Mine would die with a scene like this.
The textures are great! did you make them? I made a little Lego guy for the comp way back when it was first announced. But I think you are going to beat me by far :)
I've been modeling this the past few days. I am almost done with the modeling, but I wanted to see if anyone has any comments on it before I start on the materials.
It just has Matcaps...
Looks good! it might be a bit too detailed. unless you have a great computer. If it is slowing down I would bake some the stone parts down.
Looks really good! I would add a bit more space by the wheels. Even a super car needs some space there.
I always thought Softimage was a lot like Modo in that it was modern and clean. And with Modo on the rise its a bad idea for autodesk to shutdown there version.
This is what I've been working on over the weekend. I don't play the Guitar or anything, but I do like hearing them :P
If you don't want to use a command line, you can also open one of the test files by left clicking and opening with the "cycles" application not sure if this works on win 8 though.
Impressive! this could definitely open up Cycles to the rest of the CG community by not being linked to a certain software.
The Fur and lighting is really nice! Keep up the good work!
BTW: I'm the same regus ttef from deviantart.
I finaly downloaded the latest build of Blender to try out the new volumetrics in Cycles and here is my result:
I used some basic displacement to give it a more of a cloud look.
I had another scene I was working on that was lots better, but my computer couldn't handle it so I can't render it :(276696
Yes, someone else mentioned that to me also, I will make shour to do that in the future.
I originally was just going to make the cabinet on the first image, but then it turned into a full project. I made everything other than the book and flowers. textures form cg textures...
This is something that would be useful to me. Also the ability to add custom materials to the preset list.
Copy and past would be fine, but nothing much else is needed, we need lots of other things first.
All it is supposed to be for is finding files, two browsers next to each other would be hard...
it sounds like a nice little feature, but its not needed, we need less clutter, not more.
The file browser is fine! its for selecting a file, not reorganizing your computer. it even has bookmarks (other file browsers need that)
And you can rename things easily, I do it all the time.
It gives you roughness, but that doesn't let you control things separately.
Thats a good idea! I will keep that in mind for future renders.
I didn't spend much time finding that image, I was just showing the type of flooring. I tried not to make it overly shiny. (Cycles...
I see what you mean about the shelves, but not quite sure what you are talking about with the "local contrast"
For the floor I was going for a more glossed wood, rather than raw wood. This is what...
Wow! The hair is very realistic. Nice work.
I fixed the problems everyone pointed out and Re-Rendered at 2.5X the samples!
Thank you! That was one of my main concerns near the end.
I was going for a plate with this material:...
This is the latest project I have worked on. Some of you may recognize some of it from Andrew Price's tutorial on creating a kitchen, but you can also see that this was done in cycles instead of...
Thought I would post a few more:
Thank you! They could use some handles, right now I am working on some more major things like an oven.
Here is another update on it!: 258916258918258922
I have one!: http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqQ-ik4YEuL4wDy0MO4wOxw
This is still a WIP but I figured I might as well post it.
Looks amazingly realistic, nice work!
Here are some screenshots for you!254923254924
Thought I might as well throw in my bunch.254913254916254917I have the non transparent version of this one if you want it
I agree with NinthJake in that it would not need to be a modifier, it would be pointless. And also I tried ALT-J and it seems to only get rid of Some! of the triangles. I also tried to triangulate a...
Thanks! Theres probably is a way to do it, but its far beyond my level!: :)
I rigged and animated some simple things and decided to post my results! I don't do this kind of thing much so it was a good learning experience.
Thanks! Look up some tutorials, there are tons of them! yeah, you can set a different material and have it apply only to the inside.
Yes, it is. :D
They are a little too fast, My computer is really slow so I can't render things very long.
Thank you! I was trying to get the most varied as possible, so I guess I succeeded! Thanks again! :)
Over the past month I have been doing lots of Rigid Body and Cell Fracture animations, so I thought I would share them.
A few more things.
My Latest stuff:
I have more than this, but at this time I have no time.
Did that rhyme?
Oh ok, I hate having to do O/S installs
Yeah it does need some grunge and scratches. this was I pretty quick model so I didn't spend much time on it
thanks and I used cycles on everything here,...
The render or the 3d view?
Do you mean on the Sketchfab one? If so I know its a little bright, I di not spend much time on it.
Thanks, they are!!
I looked at the texture I used and it seems to be a mark from a logging company, the texture was a pile of logs with the camera pointed toward the ends. I will change it for future renders,
The Sky is transparent right now, I plan on adding it in photoshop.
I have thought of maybe adding a door, but as this is an abandoned cabin, probably not.
The path is a good idea! I will...
Here is another update. I have added some variation to the textures, added more plants, and sculpted the ground some. 241389
I am not really sure what I am going to do next right now.
Very Nice work!
I now have added Trees to it.
Next I plan on Tweaking the textures on things
Thank you and now as look at more and more reference images is see that most have the roof as you say. Thanks for pointing that out!
Thank you! I have thought of adding a...
This is a little project I am working on for my father for fathers day. As it is tomorrow this is the semi finished result. Later I will add things like trees and more shrubs.
Some more of them:240697240699
