Nice to see you still posting stuff here :D.
The modelling and lighting are EXCELLENT, you get 5 stars for those. :) I'd like to see some more textures of some type, but overall, it's an awsome image.
Keep up the great work!

Great image! That head... so original!!! And the composition, colors: very good!
Excellent work, Blitz. I hope this gets selected for the Forum Gallery.

Amazing! Truely amazing what you've made! I love the concept, and the scene is awesome. the map he's looking at looks like somethin from Metroid prime but in a totally new way, which doesn't make less original.

Coooool!
Feels a bit like matrix/aeon flux/anime or Animatrix kinda.
Fab work, great lighting, sweet modeling and a OMG.......
You always manage to impress and inspire all in one. Great piece. As stated above, the head is very original and has great detail.

Great work, it reminds me of Masamune Shirow's work, especially the recent CG version of Appleseed.
Wow !!!
This work is really special. Superb use of light and color, awesome modelling, great atmosphere --> 5 stars

Holy...
Eight stars if I could give them. This is *really good*.
Truly amazing!
Only thing that bothers me is that the left arms pose seems somehow forced, it just doesnt seem natural... Maby its just me though :o
Anyways, Great Job

Nice Moddeling, Lighing and Postwork! Only textures look not so realistic, but perhaps that was wanted ;)
Fantasic!
I'm rating it 5 stars. :)
I have only one thing to say: thanks from the new desktop wallpaper. :D
Whaou exellent work Blitz
Very nice mod ;)
Realy nice work Blitz...
AWSOME!!!
5 stars for me...!!!
fantastic work, this shows a lot of hard work, determination and great artistic flare, the mood and atmosphere is set in stone, and its beautiful.
If I could give any constructive critisism to making such a piece better, it would be (as has been mentioned) the left hand pose, Bassam in project orange used the trick of having 2 bones for the palm, to allow the hands natural curve, maybe something like this is all that is needed to have a more natural pose. Ofcourse hand gestures are very very difficult and this pose does not take away from the image imo.
Wonderful work!
thanks guys for your posts, comments and stars :)
amuntianu - modelling of assassin about one week, same time background and final composition
Aidan - yes :)
LohnC - ....you're righ. I spent last two days with pose but something is still wrong with his left hand. Maybe this trick could help. Thanks :)

bloody hell thats amazing! Youv given us the wire frame but I would be interested in the light setup and the materials used if you could possibly provide us with them.
Nice job! I'll fire a crit first: Drop that action figure like pose.
How do you go about modeling like that? Is it one mesh (looks like it). But how do you go about modeling the little details? Is it one big mesh or just one object that consist of meshes? Those details on the chest, do you just model them apart and than place them at that location?
I'm more of a organic modeler, so I won't easily make an object that consist of more meshes....
Keep it up!

The modeling is awesome, but I think the lighting is the best aspect of the scene. Definately deserves a spot in the Forum Gallery.
Wanted Bob
toontje: actually I think the current pose appeals to me and the type of world (if this were to be an animated scene in a movie, I would imagine this character to have big gestures, when he checks a map in a certain trapped situation). Everything is big and over the top, hotels are millionaire hotels, and characters in such a world are just as big and I geuss like to pose when they do things =D. So I dont really think that was critique but just a personal distaste =)
Great to see the model, I am amazed at the detail and style in the model put together, its very hard thign to bring from 2D O_O
This is amazing! Another proof that Blenderheads have nothing to envy to the commercial products. Great great great great .... great work.
Great texturing, great modeling and very nice postpro.
Congrats and many many stars.
Cheers!

O.. OOOOH!! What a fantastic image.. wooow 5 stars from me totally!! thats so awsome!!! Try to send it into the Blender3d.org gallery, it would come in!!!!! so so so cool!
heh by the way, its also my new wallpaper.. :D
Wait for me ;). You'v got the same trouble with hand as i had with my model. Easy for pose is to attach armatures for moving body parts.
Amazing ..............
wow...........
that guy is awesome but something tells me that i don't want to meet him
in a dark alley
8/5 stars:D
and please, if you want to start colouring him make the eyes red.. and the rest of the suit black or sumthing i can see it now.....
this is definately desktop worthy
good job
Awsome!!! Only one little detail I noticed that, if there, would have made it nearly unbeatable. You should have had a few separate lights out on the "Million Dollar Hotel" sign, instead of just whole letters. This is my only crit. Besides the sign looking a little too... fake... because of what just pointed out, that is one of the best works I've ever seen.
Hey, this got into the forum gallery! Congratulations, Blitz.
I think this might be the greatest work i have ever seen O.o
awesom work, dude... is it rigged up, or you just modeled it in that pose?
