Hi, thanks !!!
Here is the image with modifications according yours comments.
The old image is here: http://www.pixelarq.com/pixelarqbathold.jpg

No more glows, a little adjustment for lighting and the towels texture.

This image was an experiment about Blender integration with Povray, using Blend2Pov.
Ilumination is with hdri map.

Very very nice, but the bloom kinda ruins it for me :P
Remove that and you've got a winner

For me, one of the best quality render from PovRay that I have ever seen. Excellent job.

I too would like to see less bloom though.

Great!

What does "bloom" mean in this context?

One small point: I know tiles are produced industrially often today (i.e. printed), but this bath room looks a little higher classed, so maybe the tiles should have different textures, even if they differ only slightly, just as sliced from one block of marble.

Sweet, but towel looks prickely.

I have no blooming idea, but I guess that it is the softened glow.

That bathroom is GREAT work! How do we do POV? I wish all of these different rendering engines were implemented into Blender, like YafRay.

Funny you ask... Blender, like Yafray, IS completely integrated in Blender You can even define your own materials in a Blender Text window... Just look for Ruiz' great blend2POV binary, now in a CVS near you... Binary and discussion thread available here: http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?t=56552&highlight=Blend2POV

Hi man,
The bathroom is the bathroom from my house, the tiles are real, and the furniture is my design, a new design.
Thanks for comments

I like bloomy render (blown hilights) - gives it a sexy highkey vibe.

sorry for my arrogance...

but is that a toilet?

seriously, i have no idea what that white bowl is. i cant imagine it would be too pleasant to sit down on during the winter months.

Nice render, though now you've taken the spikeyness off the towels they seem a little too smooth.

Deathb4life: I think it's supposed to be a bidet, not a toilet.

In case your wondering, its what one uses to wash up after using the toilet. Don't see too many of them in the US. It's mainly a European thing, I guess.
