WOW , superb , finaly something less fantastic , and very funny :))
Wow. . .I remember seeing this on CGtalk and thinking, "Boy, that's one of the better renders in the contest." Had NO idea it was made with Blender. Great job!

hehehe, really nice concept. Great image too.
Colour looks a bit oversaturated for my taste though, but that may have been your intent.

I love your artistic, original style and intricate details. ***** from me. :)
sweet! I want to see a bigger render for all the small details.
Looks very very cool, but you should try rendering it out with higher anti aliasing, or is that just the effects of image resizing?
That is a VERY impressive rendering! I love the shaders en toning! 5 stars from me!

I seriously love this image. This should definately go into Forum Gallery!
GREAT work!
Definitely one of the best renders I've seen for that challenge.
RobertT
great job. i really like the style.

Wow lovely peace! This is one of the best entrees I've seen yet! Especially with Blender. Great work! I hope you'l get a high rank.
What's Inkscape like?
Wow - I join the wow choir. I've never seen an image executed well
with white outlines before, but YOU do it quite well!
I really like the twisted oversized look, it makes it look like we're in an
alternative world. Love it!
This is awesome, I cheked cgtalk's thread and its beautifull, I read you are having problems with blender's AO, no wonder why... Please if you want give sunflow a try, you can get a very good AO pass with 128 samples or so in no time :)
Excellent!! it's my new wallpaper =) , hehe
One of the best entries I've seen so far. And made with Blender!
Nice colors, mostly green and brown in lotsa different shades. It's great how all the elements fit nicely into the image. And superb texture/material work, especially on the characters' clothing.
amazing work, nice concept.
neat lighting and rendering too ...
best of luck !
very nice style you have here.
the lighting could've been a bit better (quite dark now), it's hard to see some of those wonderful details, and things seem to get very busy here and there. especially around the woman's pointing hand..
the woman's pose also could've been a bit more controlling.. she is pointing at the dog, instead of door, there is a reason for that?

Modeling, Lighting and Texturing are all fantastic... but I am not sure I understand the concept. Is he a traveling salesman? Is he being dumped? Either way, this is a very good one, mate.

wow i can feel and understand whats going on
good job
Thank you all for comments and for place in this gallery.
Roger: Inkscape is vector graphic program. I used him for textures.
ZanQdo: I have problems with my machine (very slow), and with bfBlender -
he often crashed. I must decrase AO samples for rendering time.
I will try sunflow but in next work.

What a wonderful piece. The materials, lights and models look terrific and the atmosphere is just fantastic. Poor geezer.
A wonderful and stunning image! The expressions of the characters are great. Their faces really create emotions in the viewer. Pity for the old man and animosity toward that old "witch". The style and colors are definitely very unique and original. Awesome work. I'll look forward to some of your future posts too

Wow, thats awesome and looks like a 3DsMax render! Could you tell something about the lighting of the scene? I think it looks almost like a 2D picture, very nice!
let's stop using other softwares as milestones.. it looks like a Blender render, and that's good enough. 3DStudio MAX internal renderer hass nothing more then Blender's one.
Thumbs up man!

Wow, the visual style of this is superb! Well done ;)
My only critic is of the woman. Her eye looks a bit odd. I would have expected something dark.
The title you've given it really fits it too.

Nice image. I personally think the colors are over saturated. I loaded it into PS and adjusted saturation to -50 and the image became alot more wow. Good work!
superb pic
one quiz, why does the man seem to have a very loooong leg

Finally a CGTalk render made with blender that looks good...
Actually this one looks superb! Great work!
The main problem with blender imho is, that most professional artists only see blender made renders from people who are lacking decent artistic skills and then think that you can't make good renders with blender. Hope this entry changes that perception!
Nice work. In fact it's BRILLIANT!! Just wondering: how did you use Inkscape for the textures (and why didn't you use GIMP for the textures you made in Inkscape)?
