video/image sequance texture

hi guys
I try to made texture with video (avi).
I created plane andthen textured with image texture. I selected *.avi and click movie on texture button and adjusted frames setting, but Why my plane not textured with .avi?

K, just make sure everything's done: Movie is selected above where you put it in, Frames are set to the length in Anim and Movie tab, (it tells you how many frames there are right next to that). The movie is the right format/codec? Check the dos box, it will tell you "not an anim;" if Blender can't use it.

If that's the case, then you need to load up the movie in some video software where you can re-encode it to get something Blender likes. Virtualdub is the awesome one there. Free and easy to use.

i have check every codec and setting, but it still doesnt work. And after I up date my Blender from graphicall.org its worked.
I download from Gabio. and vodeo texture worked. its made simple to me to made caustic effect with video texture.
my lamp was textured with caustic video from caustic generator
