Hello fellow blender heads, I am pleased to announce the FIRST contest hosted by blenderprojects.com.

The Theme as you may have guesed is Toon style, from the 1950's and 1960's.

The prize will be a new ATI video card supplied by one of my business distributors directron.com.

Realy nice topic :) so I might enter this one but that will be after 26 may because I have an other contest to finish first.

Rules Update!!

Prize will be sent via UPS, or Fed-EX if your international!!!

I was just informed that we could send the prize as long as it goes to a residence in a non-3rd world counrty :p If you can get Fed-ex deliveries you can enter!

When you say toon-style 50s-60s, you mean the American style? Like... the Fallout rpg intro and the like?
Anyone know any good links where I can view some shots of that style?

I might think about taking part in this one too but, like focus, I have a contest to finish too. And its going to be an interesting learning experience in any case

Due to the overwhelming e-mails and requests in the forums, I have decided to go with an Nvidia video card for the prize of the Toon Contest. It is an AGP Nvidia G-Force FX 128mb, I will post more on it when I get it here. Should take about a day with UPS shipping it. Happy blending!

I would have offered petty cash if I were you. I would assume most people here already have a video card. I got myself a sweet X1600 a few months ago for $120.
