This contest will be held on October 18, 2004 and is supported by the Rio de Janeiro State University
The submission is free, and the registration must be performed by filling the form available at http://www.2semana.linuerj.uerj.br/indexeng.html and reading and accepting the Official Rules. The deadline for the submission is August 22,2004.
The participation is open to anyone. There are no established limit on the nationality and on the age. All people from any country are encouraged to participate.
There will be two categories depending on the experience level of the entrant:
a)- Professional: Those who have at least a professional and or commercial 3D-illustration work (for TV, CD-ROM, Games, etcetera)
b)- Amateur: those who do not belong to the professional category.
The objective of this Contest is to encourage the use and underscore the technical capabilities and creativeness of the members that form this Community devoted to the Blender Software and the Free Software philosophy. All Blender users, despite their experience level, are very welcome to join.
The “30 Seconds in Blender Contest” , is part of the Rio de Janeiro State University 2nd Free Software Week, celebrated upon the theme: Art and Creation with Free Software.
The foreigners will be pleased with the beautiful Rio de Janeiro City and its people´s hospitality.
I would like to congratulate this wonderful community devoted to the Free Software.
