I was doing some searching and found this little company that makes 3d models into actual sculptures. And it looks like they have a monthly contest in which you can win your own designs made real kinda like.

I figured there must be one or two of you at least who'd like that ;)

Wow! That is pretty amazing, a number of times I have wished to be able to transfer a 3d modeling into clay, or another tactile meduim. Pretty pretty cool.

"We accept the following file formats : .obj, .3ds, .lwo, .stl, .dxf, .c4d. and SolidWorks files."

I guess Blender users need to convert their entries, luckily we have export to videoscape(.obj) available.

why not just use clay instead of blender?

i might have to buy a modle

Think ill use my drum kit :D

Thanks for such a cool link! I've been interested in having stuff like this for quite a while. My only worry is their durability...

There's also a contest going on in U.K. magazine 3D World to win your model to be madeby 3D art to part. I think it ends july 30.
