Gotta get the GIMP

For years I have used an old version of photoshop....why? I dunno. I just played with the GIMP for about an hour after downloading it, and it beats the hell out of the old version of photoshop, that's for sure. I can't wait to pick up a pair of 3D glasses, and fool around with that (disperse?) tool. Whatever that one is. the other tool I noticed that really turned me on was the 'make seamless' tool. I made a couple of tiles with it and used them as bump maps in Blender. They turned out very well. Very handy that.

workflow? you can name it 'right click menus'

well, I was never really able to spit something out reasonably fast within adobe's or macromedia's interfaces. Seems like opensource programmers know exactly where are weaknesses of commercial soft.
